Okay, a brief departure from the shibas in Japan theme. Here are two sightings of kai ken in their native land.
Perhaps ironically, we saw this kai in Shiba Park.
Sadly, I found this poster lying on the ground near Shinjuku Central Park. I'm guessing it's for a lost kai, but I can't really tell for sure.

Anyway the poster of the second pic says that their Kai-ken named Koma was frightened by the thunder, ran away and lost.
He has the chronic illness and needs medication.
His family are worrying so much and any information will be appreciated.
I hope they found him.
Yeah, I'd say that first shot certainly looks like my Hurley. They're such sweet dogs.
Just love it when I find someone that has seen the Kai in their native land. They are very rare to see even in Japan. I have the #1 kennel of Kai in the USA and am owned by 20+ Kai and many Shiba. You haven't experienced life until you live with a Kai!
